VERLUZ WORKSHOP ABOUT ATELIER VERLUZ Atelier VerLuz was born from a deeply personal story and an artistic and spiritual mission. Founded in honor of the artist's mother, Vera Lúcia, who signed her works as "VerLuz," the studio – spelled with an "r" at the end, in reference to its French origins – carries the purpose of "bringing light" where there is darkness. More than a space for creation, VerLuz is an expression of devotion to beauty and faith, reflecting the family history and Catholic values that have accompanied the artist throughout his journey. At VerLuz, each work is a search for meaning and connection, an invitation for each visitor or admirer to find a space for reflection and serenity. Inspired by the Catholic faith and the artistic roots of past generations, the studio aims to share a sense of hope, and believes in art as a path to illuminate the world around us. About the artist Art is a central element in the life of the artist behind Atelier VerLuz, where she seeks to translate the beauty, history and spirituality that shape her journey. Since childhood, art has been present in her daily life, a deep connection with her mother, Vera Lúcia, and her grandmother, both painters. Encouraged by this creative environment, she began to express herself through drawings and caricatures, a talent that only grew with time. Having graduated in hotel management in Switzerland and completed a master’s degree in consultancy in France, the artist reconnected with art during her time in Paris. There, she deepened her knowledge and techniques by attending the prestigious Atelier des Beaux Arts and joining the Urban Sketchers (USK) group. This reconnection with the visual arts allowed her to rediscover her roots and strengthen her connection with painting. With several exhibitions held in Paris and Campo Grande, the artist founded Atelier VerLuz as a tribute to her mother, Vera Lúcia, who signed her works as "VerLuz". The studio represents the mission of "bringing light" where there is darkness, of sharing beauty and hope through art, always influenced by her faith and commitment to illuminating the world around her. Atelier VerLuz is a space where the artist dedicates himself to developing his artistic and spiritual expression, revealing in his works the reflection of his personal journey and the light he wishes to share with the world.
